Please note that you are solely responsible for how you use the Facebook Fan Pages and their features. This applies in particular to the interactive functions of Facebook.
We are jointly responsible with Facebook for data processing within the meaning of Art. 26 GDPR, provided that we make a joint decision with the operators regarding data processing and have an influence on the data processing. We would like to point out that, despite our joint responsibility with operators of social networks under Art. 26 GDPR, we do not have complete influence on data processing by the individual social networks. The corporate policies of the respective providers have a decisive influence on our options in this regard. If you wish to enforce your rights we can only pass on these wishes to the operator of the relevant social network.
If you visit us on Facebook, your visit triggers the processing of your personal data. Facebook processes personal data related to your account, your IP address and the terminal devices you use. Cookies are used to gather this data. Facebook provides a general description of what information it receives and how it uses the information in its data policies. There, you will also find information about how to contact Facebook, options for objection and settings for advertisements.
You can view these data policies here: http://de-de.facebook.com/about/privacy.
You can find Facebook’s complete privacy policy here: https://de-de.facebook.com/full_data_use_policy.
Facebook can use this information to provide us, as the operator of the Facebook pages, with statistical information about use of the Facebook page, including the gender and age distribution of users. Furthermore, Facebook can display additional information or advertising content to you, tailored to your preferences. You can find out more here: http://de-de.facebook.com/help/pages/insights.
Facebook Ltd. processes your data gathered in this way and may transfer it to countries outside the European Union. Facebook does not clearly define how it uses the data from visits to Facebook pages for its own purposes, to what extent activities are linked to the Facebook pages of individual users, for how long Facebook stores this data, and whether data from a visit to the Facebook page is transferred to third parties. Therefore we do not know these details. When you access a Facebook page, your IP address is transferred to Facebook. According to Facebook, “German” IP addresses are anonymized and deleted after 90 days. Facebook also stores information about the terminal devices of its users. This means it may be possible for Facebook to allocate IP addresses to individual users. If you are currently logged on to Facebook, a cookie is installed on your device with your Facebook ID. This means that Facebook can recognize that you have visited this page and how you used it. The same applies to all other Facebook pages. Via Facebook buttons integrated in websites, Facebook can register your visits to these websites and allocate them to your Facebook profile. Based on this data, content or advertisements can be tailored to you. If you wish to prevent this, log out of Facebook or disable the “Keep me logged in” function, delete the cookies on your device, and close and restart your browser. This deletes any Facebook information that directly identifies you. You can then use our Facebook page without your Facebook ID being revealed. If you access interactive features on the page, a Facebook login screen will open. If you log in, it will again be possible for Facebook to identify you as a specific user. Alternatively you can use a different browser to your normal browser when you visit our Facebook page.
You can find out how to administer or delete information about you on the following Facebook support pages: https://de-de.facebook.com/about/privacy#
We do not gather and process data through your use of our Facebook Fan Pages beyond this.
